Technology Literacy Certification ProgramThe Technology Literacy Certification Program (TLCP) was developed in 2005 at the Highgate Elementary School with monies awarded from the Title II D program Enhancing Education Through Technology. This program was designed to promote technology literacy to all FNWSU staff and encompasses all of the technology skills required of students in grades PreK-8. Participants submit evidence of competency in different categories, including basic skills, spreadsheets, email, etc. Professional development workshops are offered throughout the school year to support participants in achieving the necessary skills. Attendance at the workshops is not a requirement of the program. In the 2006-2007 school year, this program was opened up to all FNWSU staff.
