Sheldon School staff and students explored and celebrated the vibrant culture, people and geography of Africa during a school wide learning experience. Through art, dance, music, food, classroom projects, guest speakers, storytelling and the Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theatre Group (partially sponsored by the Vermont Arts Council Residency Grant) our “Journey Through Africa” culminated in an evening event that filled our hearts and minds with the beat, look, sound, taste and spirit of a continent of 58 countries and a billion people.
