                            Skiing Jitters!

On January 19, the fifth and sixth graders are going to Smugglers Notch. They have a choice to snowboard or ski, I have chosen to try skiing.  I have never been on a mountain before! It is going to be scary at first, but when the skiing is over I will feel proud because I gave it a try! I will tell you how it goes!

My first time skiing

My first time skiing was awesome!! At first I was nervous than I saw the first hill and it didn’t look to scary.  When the instructor told us that we had to weave through these blue cones I was very nervous that I would bump into somebody, or go to fast and hurt myself. After a while it was becoming fun!!!!

The best thing happened; our chaperone said we were going on the chairlift!!! I will tell you how that went!!!

Second week skiing!!

My second week skiing was like a rollercoaster ride!! I bet your asking what I mean by ‘rollercoaster ride’. I mean it was thrilling, scary, and cool at the same time. Like now I am on the chairlift, and I am at the top of the mountain. You get really nervous on how big and steep on the mountain, it really isn’t bad! Like if you keep your skis straight and make big turns, you will go slower so you don’t go to fast. I will let you know if I move up a level!! Also, next Tuesday is the last skiing day!! No!!!!!
