Music Classes Lower Grades

         We're having a blast in music this year!  Grades 1-3 are starting to work on their concert pieces.  this years theme "Sing, Say, Dance, Play!"  Each grade will perform a piece that requires one or more of these 4 elements.

Music Classes Upper Grades

         The upper grades are starting to work on a variety of things.  the 4th grade is studying African music along with African drumming.  The 5th  Grade is working on recorders (flute like instruments) and learning how to accompany  songs with these instruments.  The 6th graders will soon be starting a unit on Cobalt Mom's Sword Dancing, where they will learning some of these dances and accompanying them with xylophones and glockenspiels.
