Using the New fnwsu.org Web-based Google Email Interface

This is a basic walk-through of how to access your fnwsu.org mail using a web browser

We have switched our mail service to a Google Domain.
The best way to access your mail will be through the website:

http://sites.google.com/a/fnwsu.org

Please login as soon as possible to setup your account and enter a secure password - see below

The first time you access your mail this way you will need to login
with your username only - i.e., graynak - NOT your complete email address like the previous email

Your username is the same as the name part of your email now
Most are first initial last name, but there are a few exceptions - you know who you are!

And for your first login you will use your TEMPORARY PASSWORD
which is first and last initial and 654321

On logging in for the first time you will need to fill in the account creation page

Fill in the Captcha squiggly word
Scroll down and accept Google's Terms of Service

You will then see the Google welcome page of services.  Click the Email link

This is the Google mail interface - with Inbox, Compose Mail, Contacts, Chat, etc
You can customize the colors or themes to your own liking

The FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO is CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD
Click Settings

Then click the Accounts Tab
and the Change Password link

Enter your temporary password and then your new password twice

Please login as soon as possible after July 1 to setup your account and enter a secure password
