Why are we celebrating?
Franklin Northwest Supervisory Union including Franklin Elementary, Sheldon
Elementary, Highgate Elementary, Swanton Elementary, Missisquoi Valley Union and
their partners are recognized as America’s 100 Best Communities for Young People!!! 
We are having a large community event to publicize the award.

When is it?
Thursday, January 27, 2011, 5-8 p.m.
Where will the event occur?
Missisquoi Valley Union High/Middle School
Commons, Theatre, Gymnasium, Classrooms, Library
Who will be invited?
It is free and open to everyone.  This is an “everybody award.”  Open to all community including families,
partners, guests, community, youth/students, legislative delegation, VT Department of Education, town
officials, school boards,
Exhibits and activities:
 Student music and dance performances
 Community performances
 Program partner information booths
 “100 Best Communities for Young People Award” presentation
